Falling Into Sin

The world sees sin very differently than Christians do. Most of the time they don’t believe there’s anything wrong with what they do… Until a Christan does it. Then… Well, then they pound on the faith declaring human as if to tenderize before fully attacking and cannibalizing the filthy Christian who made unspeakable mistakes all because the Christian has declared that sin is sin.

Hypocrites exist, yes!

Acknowledgment that sin is sin doesn’t make Christians sinless.

Condemning others for what you do in private yourself is indeed being hypocritical.

Making mistakes, confessing your sins, admitting you’re wrong and CHANGING your ways is repenting. This doesn’t mean you won’t make more mistakes, but it means you will make every effort not to!

If this is true, if the Lord is faithful and if he will strengthen us and protect his believers from the evil one, why then do Self proclaiming Christians fall into becoming hypocrites or fall into lifestyles of sin?

This is easy!

The Christian has walked away from the Lord. Period.

There’s no other excuse. There’s no sugar coating it.

Sin is darkness. Jesus is light. If you are in the Word of God daily and you are meditating on the Word of God, then darkness can not live in you.

1 John 1:6-7 So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth. But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.

Father, I thank you today that I hunger for more of you. Give me the desire to meditate on your Word day and night and to leave my sin at your cross. I want to be close to you Jesus. I want your light in me so darkness flees. I will not seek sin, I will seek you. I know I can’t seek both, so I choose you! In Jesus name, amen.
